Track your subscription spending with analytics and metrics.
Accessing insights
- Open Substash from your browser toolbar
- Click the "Insights" tab in the bottom navigation
- View your spending analytics
Spending metrics
The insights dashboard shows:
- Monthly cost: Total amount you pay per month across all active subscriptions
- Annual cost: Estimated yearly spend based on your current subscriptions
All costs are displayed in your preferred base currency. Only active subscriptions are included in calculations.
Subscription tracking
See at a glance:
- Active subscriptions: Number of currently paying subscriptions
- Trials: Number of subscriptions in a free trial period
Alert monitoring
Track your notification history:
- Queued alerts: Upcoming alerts waiting to be sent
- Delivered alerts: Historical record of sent notifications
Tips for accurate insights
- Keep your subscription details up to date
- Set your preferred base currency in Settings for consistent totals
- Mark cancelled subscriptions as inactive to exclude them from spending calculations
- Review insights regularly to identify subscriptions you could cancel
