Never miss a renewal again. Substash sends you email alerts before trials end and subscriptions renew.

How alerts work

Substash sends two types of email alerts:

• Trial ending: Sent 3 days before your free trial ends
• Renewal reminder: Sent 7 days before your subscription renews

All alerts are sent daily, giving you time to cancel or budget accordingly.

Requirements

Email alerts automatically activate when you sign in to Substash. No additional configuration is required.

Alerts are sent to the email address you used to sign in.

Viewing alerts

You can view your alerts in the Substash dashboard:

1. Open Substash from your browser toolbar
2. Click the "Alerts" tab in the bottom navigation
3. View upcoming alerts and your alert history

Customising alert timing

Alert timing is based on your subscription details. To change when you receive alerts, update the relevant subscription information:

• Start date: Affects when renewal alerts are sent
• Trial period: Affects when trial-ending alerts are sent
• Billing cycle: Determines how renewal dates are calculated

Not receiving alerts?

If you're not receiving email alerts:

1. Check your spam or junk folder
2. Make sure you're signed in to Substash
3. Verify your subscription has correct dates entered
4. Check that the subscription is marked as active (not inactive)

All alert emails come from Substash's verified email sender.
